Who We Are
 

Nick Fisher is a Canine Behavior Specialist and the founder and owner of Balanced Dog LLC. He has worked in the animal welfare field for 20 years as an animal control officer and in animal shelter management.  Nick started a shelter dog rehabilitation program based on Dog Psychology principals for a large shelter in the metro Denver area.  Nick recently received the 2008 Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation's Colorado Animal Hero's, Human Hero Award for his implementation and work with this program.  Nick has been inspired by Cesar Millan and his work with dog packs and Dog Psychology.  Nick has worked with hundreds of dogs using Pack and Dog Psychology and Pack Leadership techniques and has helped many dog owners with all types of behavior issues from aggression to separation anxiety and fear. 

Nick utilizes many techniques and specializes in teaching owners how to spiritually connect with their dogs.  Nick's goal is to provide you with an enjoyable journey to a better relationship with your dog!  

Nick has developed several programs for shelter and corporate organizations, each designed to achieve specific results. His approach is not one size fits all.  Some of Nick's programs include:

Ann McDonald is a Canine Psychologist and Trainer for Balanced Dog LLC.  Her background and  interests include traditional as well as  innovative- canine training and rehabilitation, obedience, animal behavior, adoption, rescue and environmental rehabilitation.  Ann’s goal is to promote a comfortable, loving,  and practical  standard of living  between people and their pets.  She has years of experience and unlimited resources in training  and canine behavior modification, and is a Certified Evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizenship Program.  

Ann's philosophy on pets and their owners is one of shared growth through continued experience and education, calm and constructive energy,  positive reinforcement, and strong, yet  gentle, leadership.  

Ann's
mission reflects her passion,  which is a genuine focus on enriching the lives of dogs, by helping the people who love them, understanding and accepting the individual and unique gift that all of us, human and animal alike, naturally possess and unconditionally offer.
